BMW R80GS – Meister Engineering Custom

This 1993 BMW R80GS (800cc, 33.0 kW) has been reimagined by Meister Engineering into a refined and purposeful custom, blending BMW’s iconic air-cooled GS platform with a clean, contemporary scrambler-inspired aesthetic.

The build focuses on simplicity, mechanical presence, and everyday usability, while elevating both the visual impact and riding experience.

At the rear, the bike features a short single-seat configuration mounted on a Meister Engineering homologated frame loop, giving the motorcycle a compact and dynamic silhouette.

The overall finish has been carefully reworked, with black-treated engine components and refinished wheels, creating a strong contrast with the deep petrol blue fuel tank, sourced from a BMW Series 7 and repainted to achieve a rich, timeless tone.

Beyond aesthetics, this motorcycle benefits from a complete technical refresh, ensuring reliability and modern functionality throughout.

Key features and modifications include:

  • BMW R80GS – 1993 / 800cc / 33.0 kW

  • BMW Series 7 fuel tank, repainted in petrol blue

  • Short double-seat setup with Meister Engineering homologated rear frame loop

  • Fully renewed electrical system

  • Brembo PS brake master cylinder for improved braking feel

  • Kit Front disc 320mm

  • Classic speedometer

  • Upgraded headlight

  • New handlebar, controls buttons and grips

  • Fork gaiters for a clean and classic front-end finish

  • Black-treated engine and refinished wheels with stainless steel spokes

All modifications have been carried out with attention to detail and coherence, resulting in a motorcycle that feels both raw and refined.

This R80GS is a distinctive and well-balanced custom — ideal for riders looking for a minimalist, reliable and characterful machine, ready to ride and stand out.
