Handmade Upholstery

Every seat begins with the motorcycle.

At Meister Engineering every saddle is handcrafted in our Geneva workshop, specifically for the motorcycle it belongs to. From the very first measurements to the final stitch, every detail is designed to become an integral part of the machine rather than an accessory added afterwards.

"A seat isn't simply upholstered. It is designed, engineered and handcrafted as an integral part of the motorcycle”
Pascal, Master Upholsterer at Meister Engineering

Building the foundation

Every project starts by protecting the motorcycle before creating a custom fiberglass seat base directly on the frame. This method allows us to capture every contour with absolute precision, ensuring that the finished saddle follows the motorcycle perfectly. It is the foundation of a truly tailor-made seat.

Precision trimming

Once the fiberglass shell has cured, it is carefully trimmed, adjusted and refined by hand. This stage is one of the most critical parts of the process. Perfect panel gaps, clean transitions and an exact fit are what distinguish a handcrafted seat from a mass-produced one. Nothing is left to chance.

Sculpting comfort

The foam is then built and sculpted entirely by hand. Rather than simply adding padding, we shape every surface to achieve the right riding position, visual proportions and long-distance comfort. Every curve is refined until both rider and motorcycle feel perfectly balanced.

The final assembly

The finished cover is carefully stretched, bonded and mounted onto the seat base before undergoing a final inspection. Tension, alignment and every finishing detail are checked one last time to ensure the saddle looks as good up close as it does from across the room.

A Selection of Our Work

Every motorcycle tells a different story, and every seat is built to reflect it.
From timeless diamond stitching to minimalist Alcantara finishes, each saddle is handcrafted to complement the personality of the motorcycle and the vision behind the build. No two seats are ever exactly alike.
