A timeless BMW boxer, reimagined with modern engineering, premium craftsmanship, and a riding experience worthy of a contemporary performance motorcycle.
Like many of our most iconic creations, this motorcycle features our signature single-seat rear frame conversion. The transformation dramatically changes the proportions of the bike, removing the bulky touring-inspired rear section and replacing it with a clean, lightweight silhouette that emphasizes the timeless lines of the BMW boxer engine.
The vision behind this build was to create a motorcycle that feels both elegant and purposeful. A sophisticated combination of black, white, and gold gives the bike a distinctive personality. The contrast between the dark mechanical components and the gold accents creates a timeless aesthetic inspired by classic motorsport and luxury craftsmanship.
All originally silver or grey components have been refinished in black, including the wheels, final drive, lower fork components, and numerous chassis details. This approach creates a visually cohesive motorcycle while drawing attention to the carefully selected highlights and premium components.
To complement the upgraded front end, the original rear shock has been replaced with a fully adjustable Öhlins suspension unit. Beyond its outstanding performance, the gold finish perfectly matches the front fork, creating visual continuity throughout the motorcycle while delivering superior ride quality and chassis control.
The original handlebars have been replaced with a Roadster-style setup that provides a more natural and dynamic riding position. At the center of the cockpit sits a Motogadget Motoscope Pro digital instrument, combining cutting-edge functionality with minimalist design. A modern LED headlight and discreet LED indicators complete the clean and contemporary appearance.
This project started life as a BMW R80RT Monolever, one of the last generations of air-cooled boxer twins before the arrival of more modern BMW platforms. Renowned for its reliability, smooth torque delivery, and balanced chassis, it provides an exceptional foundation for a high-end custom build.
Every major modification has been engineered and integrated according to our homologation standards. The chassis conversion, suspension upgrades, and structural modifications have been designed to ensure that this motorcycle remains suitable for legal road use while delivering a significantly enhanced riding experience.
The iconic BMW boxer engine has been refinished in a deep matte black coating. This treatment highlights the engine’s architecture while giving the motorcycle a cleaner, more contemporary appearance. The black finish allows the mechanical details and cooling fins to stand out with subtle sophistication.
At the front, the motorcycle is equipped with an inverted fork conversion incorporating our proprietary reinforcement system. This setup significantly improves front-end rigidity, steering precision, and braking confidence compared to the original configuration, resulting in a more engaging and controlled riding experience.
The custom paintwork features carefully integrated gold graphics that are echoed in the saddle’s gold stitching. These subtle details tie the entire design together and showcase the attention given to every aspect of the build. A CNC-machined fuel cap further enhances the premium feel of the motorcycle.
To finish the build, the motorcycle is fitted with a pair of Hattech short exhaust silencers. Their compact design visually lightens the rear section of the motorcycle while delivering a deeper and more engaging boxer soundtrack that perfectly complements the character of the air-cooled twin.
