BMW K100

M-E 110

A motorcycle reborn from engineering, not only styling.

At the heart of this project lies the Retro Ride conversion. The original chassis is cut, reinforced and rebuilt to accept an entirely new rear suspension architecture. This operation fundamentally changes the geometry of the motorcycle and creates the sleek, dynamic silhouette that characterizes this machine. Unlike most custom K-series builds, this conversion is fully homologated for road use and available for export worldwide.

The rear section is built around a CNC-machined aluminum structure supporting the new suspension system and single-seat tail section. Every component has been engineered to combine strength, precision and visual lightness. The polished aluminum elements become structural highlights, showcasing the technical nature of the build rather than hiding it.

The legendary inline-four engine remains the soul of the motorcycle. Known for its exceptional reliability, smoothness and torque delivery, the BMW K100 powerplant has become an icon among enthusiasts. For this build, the entire engine has been refinished in matte black, visually compacting the mechanical mass while emphasizing the polished aluminum details surrounding it.

Custom Jonich spoked wheels further reinforce the unique character of the build. Fully homologated and specifically selected for this project, they combine classic craftsmanship with modern performance. Their elegant design perfectly complements the blend of vintage inspiration and contemporary engineering found throughout the motorcycle.

The intake system receives four polished CNC-machined velocity stacks that immediately draw attention to the inline-four configuration. Complementing these are numerous CNC details supplied by Powerbrick, including the fuel cap and BMW emblems, which elevate the level of finish and reinforce the premium character of the build. Technology is discreetly integrated throughout the motorcycle. A Motogadget Motoscope Pro provides all rider information through a compact and elegant cockpit. Mini-switch controls with fully integrated handlebar wiring eliminate visual clutter, while a modern LED headlight and minimalist LED indicators bring contemporary functionality without compromising the purity of the design.

This BMW K100 is far more than a custom build. It is the result of a complete structural transformation developed around our Retro Ride homologated kit, designed to radically redefine the proportions, stance and riding experience of BMW’s legendary flying brick while remaining fully road-legal.

One of the most striking changes is the visual transformation of the fuel tank area. By redesigning the motorcycle around the Retro Ride architecture, the heavy lower line of the original BMW K100 disappears completely. The result is a much lighter profile that finally gives the K-series the athletic stance its remarkable engine always deserved.

The original BMW fuel tank, already manufactured in aluminum from the factory, has been carefully polished to a mirror-like finish. This raw metallic surface creates a stunning contrast against the matte black engine and allows the craftsmanship of the motorcycle to take center stage. The polished tank, seat cowl, CNC components and aluminum fork details work together to create a cohesive and timeless aesthetic.

The front end has been completely redesigned around a modern inverted fork assembly and a full BMW S1000RR braking system equipped with Brembo calipers. This upgrade dramatically improves braking performance, rigidity and rider confidence while giving the motorcycle a much more purposeful stance.

At the rear, the lighting system uses discreet 3-in-1 LED units combining tail light, brake light and indicators into a single minimalist package. Together with the clean cockpit and hidden wiring, this approach reflects the philosophy behind the entire project: reducing visual noise to reveal only what truly matters.
Cooling is handled by a bespoke hand-fabricated aluminum radiator. Beyond its functional role, this component becomes a key design feature, exposed and proudly displayed within the architecture of the bike. Together with the polished intake trumpets, it contributes to the industrial and mechanical aesthetic that defines this K100.

The homologated exhaust system, developed specifically for this configuration, exits on the right-hand side through a pair of compact silencers. Approved with Swiss DTC certification, it delivers a distinctive sound while remaining fully compliant for road use. Like every major modification on this motorcycle, performance and legality go hand in hand.

A BMW K100 stripped down to its essence, rebuilt through engineering and craftsmanship to become something its designers could only have imagined.
