Some motorcycles are built around a budget.
Others are built around a vision.

This BMW R80R started life as a 1992 model equipped with the desirable spoke wheels and Paralever rear suspension. From the very beginning, the goal was simple: create the ultimate air-cooled BMW café racer without compromise, using the very best components available and pushing every detail as far as possible.

The chassis was completely re-engineered around a custom front end featuring an inverted Öhlins fork with black aerodynamic-profile fork tubes, delivering both exceptional performance and an unmistakably aggressive stance. Braking performance is entrusted entirely to Beringer components, combined with oversized petal brake discs to provide outstanding feel, power and precision.

Attention to detail extends far beyond what is immediately visible. Even the side-mounted license plate bracket was carefully positioned so that, when viewed from the side, it aligns perfectly with the rear wheel hoop, making it visually disappear into the motorcycle's silhouette.

The exhaust system was entirely handcrafted in collaboration with Mad Exhaust, creating a unique soundtrack perfectly matched to the engine’s character while enhancing the visual balance of the motorcycle.

Numerous components were machined from solid aluminum exclusively for this build. Custom BMW emblems supplied by PowerBrick, bespoke triple clamps, custom fork yokes and a unique fuel cap featuring a Swiss cross all contribute to the motorcycle’s unmistakable identity.

At the front, a JW Speaker adaptive LED headlight provides modern visibility and automatically adjusts through corners, blending cutting-edge technology with classic airhead character.

The result is far more than a custom motorcycle. It is a complete reinterpretation of the BMW airhead platform — lighter, faster, sharper and more refined in every aspect. A machine built without shortcuts, without compromises and without limits.

A true rider’s motorcycle. A true Meister Engineering creation.

One of the most striking aspects of the build is its cleanliness. Every possible cable and wiring harness has been hidden or integrated to achieve an exceptionally pure cockpit. The rear of the motorcycle follows the same philosophy, with the taillights discreetly integrated into the custom rear loop, almost disappearing until illuminated.

The engine received the same obsessive level of attention. At its heart sits a Siebenrock 1070cc Big Bore kit, transforming the character of the legendary boxer engine. To complement the increased displacement, the engine was equipped with high-performance flat-slide carburetors, a performance camshaft, an upgraded charging system and a reinforced clutch. The result is an airhead that delivers both exceptional reliability and a level of performance rarely found in a classic BMW.

At the rear, a fully custom-built shock absorber was developed specifically for this project, ensuring that the riding experience matches the motorcycle’s exceptional specifications.
The finish is equally special. The bodywork is painted in a deep three-stage Candy Red, developed specifically to achieve this rich, luminous tone. Traditional BMW-inspired side stripes were retained as a tribute to the motorcycle’s heritage, but reinterpreted with bolder proportions and a more athletic, contemporary appearance.
