Ducati Scrambler 800

Some projects go beyond motorcycles. They become tributes to places, memories, and local culture. This Ducati Scrambler 800 was created for TranZport, the legendary skate shop of Geneva's Eaux-Vives district, a place that helped shape generations of skateboarders throughout the 1990s and beyond. Building a motorcycle inspired by such an iconic local institution was both an honor and a creative playground.

The entire concept was developed around one of TranZport's collectible skateboards. The most distinctive feature is the custom side-mounted skateboard rack integrated into the left side of the motorcycle, allowing a skateboard to be carried securely while remaining a true design element. Additional details reinforce the theme, including genuine skateboard wheels used as axle-mounted crash pads and the TranZport logo incorporated into the tank graphics as a tribute to the shop's heritage.

As with all Meister Engineering rear frame conversions, the chassis modification is fully homologated for Switzerland through our DTC-approved certification process. The shortened tail section, side-mounted license plate holder, and minimalist rear lighting all contribute to a cleaner and more purposeful appearance.

Introduced in 2015, the Ducati Scrambler 800 quickly became one of Ducati's biggest commercial successes. Combining the character of an air-cooled L-Twin engine with a lightweight chassis and minimalist styling, it captured the spirit of freedom and customization that made the original Scrambler models so popular. Its simplicity, reliability, and playful personality make it an excellent foundation for a bespoke build.

To strengthen the Scrambler identity, the motorcycle was fitted with aggressive dual-purpose tires that bring a tougher, more adventurous stance while remaining perfectly enjoyable on the road. The rear end was significantly lowered and visually cleaned up through our signature shortened rear frame conversion, creating a much flatter and more dynamic silhouette. Matching saddle and grip materials add warmth and character, while the SC Project exhaust gives the bike a sharper visual presence and a soundtrack worthy of its personality.

At the front, a custom grille integrated into the headlight adds a distinctive scrambler-inspired touch while enhancing the motorcycle's rugged character. Rizoma indicators provide a premium finish, while the rear combines discreet lighting functions into an elegant and minimalist package. The result is a machine that perfectly blends Ducati performance, Swiss craftsmanship, and the rebellious spirit of skate culture.

This structural modification allows us to achieve the desired proportions while maintaining full legal compliance.

At the rear, miniature 3-in-1 LED indicators integrate brake light, tail light and turn signal functions into an almost invisible package.

More than a custom motorcycle, this Ducati Scrambler 800 is a rolling tribute to a landmark of Geneva's alternative culture—a machine built to carry both a rider and a skateboard, while celebrating the freedom that connects both worlds.

Built to be ridden, enjoyed and admired for many years to come.
