BMW K75 S

M-E 124

Certain motorcycles are built to follow trends. Others are built to leave a mark.

This BMW K75S belongs firmly to the second category. Conceived as one of Meister Engineering’s signature builds, it represents our vision of what the iconic BMW K-series can become when engineering, design and homologation are treated with the same level of obsession.

As with all our K-series projects, every major modification has been designed to comply with Swiss road regulations and is fully registered.

The rear section features our CNC-machined homologated Retro Ride suspension conversion, combined with our CNC rear frame and integrated seat cowl assembly. Together, these components completely redefine the motorcycle’s proportions while preserving full legality and usability.

The result is a dramatically cleaner silhouette with a purposeful café racer stance that remains perfectly roadworthy.

Like every Meister Engineering build, the beauty of this motorcycle lies as much in its details as in its overall silhouette.

The handlebars feature integrated wiring routed internally through the bars and triple clamps, creating an exceptionally clean cockpit. Mini-switch controls replace the original bulky switchgear, while a Motogadget Motoscope Pro instrument cluster provides all essential information through a minimalist modern interface.

The fuel cap and BMW emblems have been CNC-machined from solid aluminium and finished entirely in black, reinforcing the bespoke nature of the build.

The engine has been completely rebuilt and refinished.

Every component has been coated in satin black while the cooling fins have been carefully brushed to create subtle contrast and highlight the architecture of the three-cylinder engine. The finish emphasizes the technical nature of BMW’s iconic flying brick while giving the entire motorcycle a darker, more aggressive personality.

Over time, this motorcycle earned a nickname among visitors to our events: The Batbike.

The name comes partly from its dark appearance, aggressive stance and stealth-like presence, but also from a detail that few people notice at first glance.

Look closely at the right section of the engine and you'll discover a subtle shape hidden within the architecture of the cooling system. Suspended upside down, it resembles the head of Batman, complete with pointed ears. An entirely accidental detail, yet one that perfectly reflects the character of the motorcycle.

Introduced in the late 1980s, the BMW K75S occupied a unique place in BMW’s history.

Derived directly from the legendary K100 platform, BMW simply removed one cylinder from the 987cc engine to create a 740cc inline three-cylinder. The result was an exceptionally smooth, reliable and characterful powerplant that many enthusiasts still consider the finest engine of the entire K-series family. At the time, BMW intended the K75 to offer a more accessible alternative to the K100. However, the price difference proved too small and sales remained relatively limited. Today, the K75 has become a rare and highly sought-after platform, appreciated for its mechanical refinement and remarkable durability.

Underneath the minimalist design lies an entirely re-engineered chassis.

The front end combines BMW S1000RR fork tubes with Powerbrick hardware, bringing modern precision and rigidity to a platform originally designed decades earlier.

Braking performance is equally impressive thanks to oversized dual front discs and Brembo four-piston calipers. The transformation delivers a level of confidence and control that rivals contemporary motorcycles while maintaining the unmistakable character of the original K-series.

To complement the chassis package, the motorcycle is fitted with custom homologated wire-spoke wheels, officially registered and approved for road use.

The final touch is a custom-developed paint finish inspired by an Audi anthracite grey metallic.

Modified specifically for this project and applied in a satin matte finish, the colour constantly changes depending on the light. Under bright conditions it reveals sharp highlights and sculpted surfaces, while in darker environments it becomes almost completely black.

It is the perfect finish for a motorcycle built around contrasts: classic and modern, discreet and aggressive, engineering and art.

A homologated MASS exhaust system completes the package. It preserves the engine’s performance while fully complying with Swiss noise regulations and technical inspections, and is officially registered in the motorcycle's documentation.

At the rear, miniature 3-in-1 LED indicators integrate brake light, tail light and turn signal functions into an almost invisible package.

A machine now riding in U.S. that appears minimalist from afar, but reveals layer after layer of design and engineering the closer you look.

Built to be ridden, enjoyed and admired for many years to come.
