Introduced in 1974, the Honda CB550 Four K quickly established itself as one of the finest middleweight motorcycles of its era. Powered by a 544 cc air-cooled inline four-cylinder engine, producing approximately 50 horsepower, it offered remarkable smoothness, reliability and performance for its class. Featuring a five-speed gearbox, front disc brake and Honda's legendary engineering quality, the CB550 became one of the motorcycles that helped redefine what riders expected from a modern sports machine during the 1970s.

One of the defining elements of this build is its unmistakable exhaust system. The iconic four individual exhaust silencers preserve the unmistakable visual identity of the inline-four engine while paying homage to the motorcycles that inspired an entire generation of café racers. Combined with classic old-school tyres, the motorcycle captures the unmistakable atmosphere of the British racing scene of the 1960s.

This Honda CB550 Four K was created as a tribute to the golden age of British café racers, blending Japanese engineering with the raw elegance of the motorcycles that once raced between London's cafés. Every line, every component and every finish was carefully selected to capture the authentic spirit of the late 1960s while delivering the reliability of a fully rebuilt machine.

For this project, our vision was simple: build a nice custom bike that could easily have existed during the golden years of motorcycle culture. The original silhouette was completely reimagined with a handcrafted seat. The rear frame was carefully shortened to flow seamlessly into the custom tail, creating a perfectly balanced profile with no visual compromise.

The chassis was entirely restored before receiving a deep gloss black finish, while the wheels were refinished in matching gloss black to reinforce the motorcycle's timeless monochrome identity. The engine was completely rebuilt to ensure that the riding experience matches the appearance, delivering the smooth, characterful performance that made Honda's inline-four engines legendary.
