BMW R80 GS
M-E 51
A BMW GS icon, reimagined with lightness and purity.
Starting from a BMW R80 GS Paralever, the goal of this project was clear: preserve the legendary character of the air-cooled Boxer while radically refining its silhouette. Every unnecessary visual element was removed to highlight the engine, reduce the bike to its essential lines, and create a machine that feels both timeless and unmistakably modern.
To reinforce this clean aesthetic, the engine and wheels have been finished in satin black, contrasting beautifully with the metallic grey frame. A handcrafted aluminium front fender and a fully custom-built exhaust complete the silhouette, while allowing the Boxer engine to remain the undisputed focal point of the motorcycle.
The transformation begins with our signature homologated single-seat rear frame. Combined with a new fuel tank and a bespoke seat, it creates one perfectly straight line from the steering head to the tail, giving the motorcycle a much lighter and more dynamic stance. The result is a remarkably clean profile, with an impressive ready-to-ride weight of just 170 kg, dramatically enhancing both agility and riding pleasure.
The visual identity pays tribute to the legendary BMW GS Paris-Dakar. The white fuel tank and vibrant red saddle instantly recall the iconic rally machines, while the red ignition leads and Oury grips echo the same color scheme with subtle consistency. Instead of recreating the original, this build reinterprets its spirit through a minimalist, performance-oriented design.
The cockpit follows the same philosophy. A Fatbar handlebar mounted on raised risers delivers a confident riding position, while discreet mini switchgear with fully integrated wiring keeps the controls exceptionally clean. A modern LED headlight completes the front end, blending contemporary technology with the timeless proportions of the classic Boxer.
Mechanically, the riding experience matches the visual transformation. A Wilbers rear shock absorber significantly improves comfort and precision, while the lighter chassis makes the bike feel playful and responsive on every road.
The result is a BMW that captures the adventurous DNA of the original GS, distilled into a lighter, sharper and far more exclusive custom motorcycle—built to be ridden as beautifully as it is admired.
