The foundation of the project was a BMW R80 RT twin-shock model. The rear frame was replaced with our Meister Engineering homologated rear loop, giving the motorcycle a significantly lighter and more harmonious silhouette. A handcrafted single seat, bespoke aluminium rear fender and custom rear light were designed specifically for this build, while the license plate holder is seamlessly integrated into the tip of the rear fender for an exceptionally clean finish.

Mechanically, the boxer engine remains the undisputed star of the build. The rocker covers, airbox cover and starter cover were replaced with elegant BMW /6 Series components, giving the engine a cleaner and more refined appearance. The motorcycle also features a pair of Hattech exhaust silencers, delivering both a distinctive soundtrack and a perfectly balanced vintage look. New wire-spoke wheels further enhance the lightweight, classic proportions while reinforcing the timeless personality of the machine.

Some motorcycles are transformed by adding more. Others become exceptional by refining everything down to its essence. This BMW R80 RT is a celebration of handcrafted craftsmanship, where every modification was designed to highlight the iconic BMW boxer engine while creating a timeless café racer with unmistakable character.

The centrepiece of this motorcycle is undoubtedly its completely hand-built aluminium fuel tank. Inspired by the proportions of the original BMW tank, it was entirely recreated in aluminium to preserve its classic shape while showcasing the beauty of hand-formed metal. Together with the handcrafted aluminium front and rear fenders, the brushed and polished finish creates an authentic mechanical aesthetic where every hammer mark and curve reflects true artisan workmanship.

At the rear, premium Öhlins shock absorbers provide modern suspension performance while perfectly complementing the motorcycle's classic silhouette. Every component was carefully selected to create a machine that feels as refined to ride as it is to admire.

The cockpit was redesigned to combine classic styling with modern engineering. A Motogadget Chronoclassic speedometer integrates discreetly into the cockpit, while miniature switch controls with fully internal handlebar wiring create an exceptionally clean front end. Braking performance has been significantly upgraded thanks to a Brembo PS master cylinder paired with braided stainless-steel brake lines, offering modern braking confidence without compromising the motorcycle's vintage spirit. Completing the front end, the handcrafted aluminium front fender is supported by custom-made aluminium brackets, fabricated exclusively for this build.
