Meister Monkey Nº02/10

Story of the bike:
“I joined the Meister Monkey project because it resonates with the way I approach design in general: not as decoration, but as a way to give meaning and identity to an object.
My background is not rooted in motorcycle culture alone, but in architecture and object design. What drives me is the relationship between form, material, and intention — how a simple object can become something personal, almost intimate, through the right balance of proportions, textures, and details.
In this project, I’m particularly interested in the fuel tank as a central piece. Not just as a functional element, but as a surface for expression. My approach is to avoid anything that feels added or superficial. Instead, I try to integrate the identity directly into the design itself.
My inspirations come from a mix of worlds: architecture, where old and new coexist; watchmaking, for its precision and attention to detail; and handcrafted objects, where materials like metal, leather, or patinated surfaces tell a story.
For me, this project is an opportunity to create something honest — a piece that is not only designed, but truly built with intention.” C.B.
