Meister Monkey Nº05/10
Story of the bike:
“A few years ago, I had the privilege of having one of my motorcycles customized by Antoine, Adrien, and their exceptionally talented team. It was an experience that left a lasting impression on me. Beyond their remarkable craftsmanship and limitless creativity, I discovered genuinely kind, approachable, and passionate people. Since that day, I have held a deep admiration for them—not only for the entrepreneurs they are, but also for the men they embody.
So when my dear friend Eric told me about their new project—a unique adventure involving the customization of ten Honda Monkeys—I did not hesitate for a single second. This project was not only an extraordinary opportunity to own a truly unique motorcycle, but also to take part in an entrepreneurial journey driven by passion, innovation, and an uncompromising attention to detail.
Very quickly, I felt the desire to give this motorcycle a distinctive identity. Having always been fascinated by Japan—its culture, refinement, sense of detail, and timeless beauty—it felt natural to draw inspiration from it. Cherry blossoms, symbols of poetry and the fleeting nature of life, along with the delicate elegance of Japanese porcelain, naturally guided my aesthetic choices.
And because this is a Honda, that inspiration felt even more meaningful: a way of paying tribute to its origins, strengthening its identity while adding a deeply personal touch.
Being one of the ten selected participants, and part of a circle of friends brought together through this experience, was already a privilege in itself. Taking part in such a creative process—where each motorcycle becomes a unique work of art reflecting the personality of its owner—gave even greater meaning to the journey.
What I had not anticipated, however, was the profoundly human and emotional dimension that would become part of it.
For weeks, I had been looking forward to riding this exceptional motorcycle. Then, on my 45th birthday, everything took an even more incredible turn. To my complete surprise, I discovered that my friends had joined forces to buy it for me as a gift.
At that moment, I realized that this project had become far more than a motorcycle or an entrepreneurial achievement. It had become the symbol of a strong, sincere, and precious friendship.
Today, this motorcycle is not unique simply because of its design or craftsmanship. It is unique because of the story it carries, the people who imagined it, created it... and gifted it.
And perhaps that is the greatest success of all: when entrepreneurship meets humanity, and passion becomes a bond between people.
My heartfelt thanks go to Antoine, Eric, Adrien, and everyone who contributed to bringing this remarkable project to life.” E.B.
